Hotel a Circle Pines

“We arrived around 10 pm. The front receptionist was clicking on her computer and looking at her phone. She doesn't look up, greet me, or even say I'll be right with you. After a very uncomfortable ,rude few minutes of her basically ignoring me, and I have my od and card out on the counter, she finally looks up to check me in. Property feels and looks dated. Not very clean, there were mold spots in the shower grout, pool are was not cared for, and 1 elevator was out of service. We were in town...

“My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. “Very nice place. Comfortable beds. Only trouble was the TV’s were a pain to use and had to have someone come up and show us how to use it!”

“This hotel was very underwhelming. I've stayed at other hotels for the same price or less and have had much better experiences. This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would expect. The breakfast left much to be desired. Staff wasn't rude or mean, but wasn't overly friendly either. Going forward, when we stay in the Minneapolis/st paul area I will avoid this hotel.”

“Very nice rooftop sitting area and hot tub! Matchstick restaurant with great reviews. Just wish they served breakfast-at least on the weekends. Very good customer service by all staff!”

“I didn't know that I'd be checking in with bedbugs or some kind of rodent that had died in the bed. It was brought to the attention of the management team that night that informed me that I should've stayed on the second floor, cause they don't go up to the second floor. ”
